The Sidas IPS C Shape foam pad adhesive is a great solution for a skier who is experiencing a feeling of 'sloppiness' around the inside and outside of the ankle and wants to reduce the volume or space around this area. The skier may have sore ankle bones with ‘hot spots’ or red spots caused by rubbing and friction at the end of the day.
It is placed on the outside of the liner, around the bony part of the ankle or malleolus. Commonly the pad is placed only on the medial (inside) side of the liner. If a more secure feeling is desired it can also be placed on the lateral (outside) side of the liner.
Cover-
Used to cover the ankle C foam attachments. Not essential but makes a neater job and stops the foam being peeled off when taking the inners in and out.
Peel the cover off and use a heat gun to warm it up on the sticky side then place over the foam attachment and press firmly.
